Taoudeni Indigo Throw
Indigo fabric from Mali is one of the most recognized and appreciated textile expressions in West Africa.
This fabric, made of cotton, is distinguished by its vibrant intense blue that is obtained through traditional dyeing techniques using natural dye. The process of creating these fabrics begins with the spinning and weaving of cotton, made by hand by skilled artisans. Once woven, the fabric is repeatedly immersed in indigo dye baths, a process that can last for days and requires great dexterity to achieve the desired shade. The result is a deep, rich blue, known for its durability and its ability to not fade easily.
Beautiful addition to your home as a throw, across your sofa or end of the bed and in the garden in the Summer.
